How 2 Take Care of Your Skin

Do you want clear, radiant, perfect skin free from blemishes and wrinkles? Taking care your skin doesn’t have to be complicated. Here are a few simple to follow skin care tips – the do’s and don’ts of great skin care.

Think of your skin as a reflection of your inner health and remember that your skin is a cleansing organ removing toxins that your colon, kidneys and liver can’t. If you’re having problems with your skin there could be an internal underlying cause.  So visit your health practitioner if your skin is trying to tell you something!

These skin care tips are for everyone, any age, male or female. STOP doing things that damage your skin like:

  • Going out in strong sun without sunscreen
  • Smoking
  • Excessive drinking
  • Going to bed without washing your face

START doing things that will promote healthy skin and reduce damage caused by environmental pollutants, the sun and stress:

  • Take antioxidants (vitamins) orally
  • Use natural skin care products with anti-oxidants – organic coconut oil contains anti-oxidants naturally
  • Cleanse your system
  • Eat whole foods
  • Reduce stress
  • Get enough sleep

Please have any unusual spots or discolorations checked by a dermatologist. Do not self-diagnose.

Okay, so that’s what everyone should be doing, but what about the wrinkles?

Hi there, I’ve been having problems with my skin lately. I have real bad acne and can’t seem to get rid of it. I take medication and tried everything to buying different products but nothing seems to work. I walk everyday so I’m in the sun alot. My skin seems to be darker than usual cause of the acne. Please give some information or advice on what products I should be using.

  3. Thanks for the tips. It’s great to know both that to do and what not to do to make sure you have healthy skin. That’s the only way in learning to prevent bad skin from occurring rather than waiting until your skin is a problem to do something about it.
