First of all congratulations on your company for starting a wellness program! It great to hear news about responsible employers.
I don't know of any truly independent reviews on coconut oil brands. I would suggest that you contact the companies you've found so far and get samples and quotes for your needs and then pick the best product for you.
I think if I were in Africa buying for a company, I would look for an African wholesaler rather than an American retail brand (which is imported). You could contact africaimports.com. They sell bulk coconut oil from Togo to the US market. I would find out who their supplier is and go from there.
I hope this helps. Just remember that there is a lot of marketing hype around coconut oil online. For example there is no such thing as 'extra' virgin coconut oil - just virgin coconut oil.
Good luck!

I'm looking for the best quality and source of coconut oil to buy in bulk. Our company has created a wellness programme that has been quite well recieved with a whole lot more potential. Coconut oil somehow fits into our big picture and we're lookign for a company that has a good bulk sales profile.
We initially had our eyes on the Splash VCO (Thera Herb, I think) but we are looking for alternatives and some independent assessment of qualities, choices etc. Today, I discovered Nutiva and Tropical Traditions online.
Can you say more?
On our bulk purchase ambition?
source, pricing, what to look out for?
On these companies?
Do you know any of them who might be good partners for the African market?
Thank you.
Ms. Ruth Paul.

Thank you for this comment. All I know is that I use hydrogen peroxide most days and I have very little plaque even when I don't see a hygienist for over a year. My gums are also in much better shape and have stopped receding. I would love to see some research done on this to see if this is also the case for others.

I can't believe that hydrogen peroxide has helped you so much for plaque removal. I've prescribed it for oral bacterial infections and cuts or abrasions of the gums, but never for pocket plaque removal. Amazing!

Hi Office for Dental Arts!
I couldn't agree with you more. It doesn't sound nice, but somehow they have managed to get it to taste pretty good. It definitely cleans far better that regular tooth paste - even the natural organic types (which always leave my teeth feeling slimy!) Give it a try. I'm sure you would be able to talk about it, too. My dad was a dentist. He used to use bar soap! Now that sounds nasty!

For some reason, tooth soap doesn't sound as "appetizing" as toothpaste. I don't know what I would say if someone asked me what that was.

Comment on DMSO Uses – pain relief & anti-inflammatory by Brenda

DMSO may help with the pain. It does not help to heal a torn tendon. Time and staying off your leg will. DMSO is not approved by the FDA as a pain killer, which is slightly different than your daughter's view that it is not for human use. It is only approved by the FDA for humans for a rare bladder disease called interstitial cystitis.
Personally, for any temporary condition that takes time to heal I would go for an over the counter pain killer and only use it when I really had to get up and get around. Pain is what tells us that something is wrong. If you kill the pain and don't give your injury time to heal, you can cause more problems. What is your doctor advising?

So far I have had 3 shots in my hip and I still have pain. Doctors tell me that I have a slight tear in a tendon. My daughter says DMSO is not for human use. Everybody else who has used it says it will solve my problem. Your opinion please.
